The design brief for this project called for the transformation of an old factory in the inner suburbs into a stylish Workshare Office space.

The DCA Design team aimed to preserve as much of the building’s industrial character as possible. This involved polishing the original concrete floor to showcase the beautiful stone textures within, while also making the steel roof frame a prominent feature of the interior’s industrial aesthetic.

The design incorporated a mezzanine level to create a secluded area, and utilised steel-framed glazed doors and windows internally to enhance the timeless atmosphere.

Additional features include bleacher seating for group meetings, a recreational area, and three truckloads of indoor plants to complete the overall appearance.
