The project’s design brief aimed to re-envision an outdated shopping centre from the 1980s located on the leafy outskirts of Melbourne.

The DCA Design team expanded the floor area by adding a second level and rejuvenated the centre with a sleek, modern facade and a broader variety of spaces for potential tenants.

The new retail offerings now feature a fitness centre, medical clinics, and a cafe/restaurant. The design palette incorporates materials that harmonise with the local environment, including stone facings and matte Colourbond sheeting in a mix of light and dark tones.

The cantilevered upper floor extends over the car park below, providing all-weather protection for a significant portion of the parking area, which enhances the overall customer experience.
